New Ground-breaking PianoSoft Recording
My next recording is a special project for Yamaha's PianoSoft catalogue, presenting 3 masterpieces by Franz Schubert: Lebenssturme, Divertissement a la Hongroise and the beautiful Fantasy in F Minor.
The ground-breaking aspect of this recording is that the 2 piano parts, primo and secondo, are recorded on separate tracks. The two tracks can be played together, but they can also be played separately. This allows someone to play along with the other part. Similar to the old "Music Minus One" series of LPs, but for piano 4-hand.

Playing for the Largest Piano Tech Convention!
Frederic is in Anaheim, interacting with and playing for one of his favorite groups of people: piano techs! Across 3 days, he presents his Classical Smackdown program, participates in panel discussions between performing artists and piano techs. For the final evening's Yamaha Gala, Frederic presents his 2-piano 1-pianist program, playing Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun in Debussy's own version for 2 pianos, as well as Chopin's only piece written for 2 pianos, the C major Rondeau.
